Weed Man’s LND Group is proud to kick off the new year (and the new lawn care season) by announcing our new ongoing partnership with Make-A-Wish Illinois! Brandon Burns, one of the owners of Weed Man’s LND group, presented a $10,000 donation to representatives from the organization during the company’s annual holiday party, with many Weed Man team members–who made the donation possible–in attendance.
“Employees are at the heart of this effort,” says Director of Sales Nick Heyerdahl. “We’re all coming together to participate, volunteer, and lead the charge in fostering community spirit. By strengthening our partnership with Make-A-Wish Illinois, we’re reinforcing our mission to actively support the communities we service."
This partnership goes beyond a one-time donation. Weed Man’s LND Group is launching a company-wide initiative dedicated to making dreams come true for local kids in need. Looking ahead, the Weed Man team is excited to continue raising funds through major Make-A-Wish events, including the highly anticipated Make-A-Wish Walk, and other internal company events.
“Through collaborative fundraising efforts and the shared commitment of our team, we aim to bring hope and joy to families facing challenging circumstances,” says Heyerdahl. “Together, we are working to grant wishes that create lasting memories, demonstrating the power of unity and compassion in transforming lives.”
